Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru

Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru, a legendary name for all Dragon Ball fans, will be at Made in Asia on March 7th, 8th, and 9th, 2025!

Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru is one of the most iconic names in Japanese animation, particularly known for his work on Dragon Ball. As an animation director, character designer, and key animator, he has left an indelible mark on the saga.

Nakatsuru also supervised epic moments in Dragon Ball Z, being responsible for the design of iconic characters like Goku, Vegeta, and many others. He is recognized for being one of the few to closely match the style of Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball. His ability to combine intense emotions with spectacular battles greatly contributed to the anime’s appeal and its global success. He is also the creator of the Super Saiyan 4 (SSJ4) form in Dragon Ball GT, a transformation highly appreciated by fans of the series.

However, Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru did not limit himself to the Dragon Ball universe. His career also extends to other popular animation series such as Digimon and many others. His work on these series has also left a lasting impression on fans, solidifying his reputation as one of the greatest talents in the industry.

Today, he continues to work on the Dragon Ball universe, actively participating in the production of the new anime Dragon Ball Daima, a new adventure that will undoubtedly thrill fans of the saga. This project marks another step in Nakatsuru’s legacy, as he continues to innovate and refresh his approach to animation.

Don’t miss the chance to meet Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru and get an exclusive autograph at Made in Asia, on March 7-8-9, 2025, at Brussels Expo!
